Oreo
Allow me to introduce myself, I'm a charming 3-month-old female heeler/terrier mix. I've already been neutered and am up-to-date on all my shots. People often tell me I'm adorable and smart, and I must say, I agree with them! I'm 99% potty trained and have mastered the doggie door. Walking on a leash is a breeze for me, as we go for walks a couple of times a day.I've already learned to sit and am busy mastering other commands. I'm a friendly pup with a touch of sass, and I absolutely love playing in water, especially trying to catch it as it comes out of the hose. Food is my passion, and I'm always on the lookout for it - treats are my ultimate motivation, and I'll do anything for a yummy treat!I adore meeting new people and can't wait to make friends with other dogs. I get along splendidly with my foster brother, who's bigger than me, but I don't mind at all - I'm smarter and faster! I sleep in my crate every night and will whine to let you know if I need to go out during the night. Cuddles are my favorite, so you can hold me and snuggle with me as much as you like.I'm learning how to play fetch and am crate trained. I spend time there when my foster mom is working or out of the house. I'm currently in my chewing stage, so I need plenty of things to chew on until I get through the teething process. In the evenings, I get the zoomies, and I challenge anyone to try and catch me - it's so much fun!I'm eagerly looking for a family to love and cherish as much as they will love and cherish me. Car rides are great, and I absolutely adore going for walks. Spending time in the yard and playing outside are some of my favorite activities. But most of all, I love snuggling and can't wait for those moments of warmth and affection.I'm ready to find my forever home and share all my love and loyalty with you. Let's embark on this wonderful journey together!

Rick
Meet Rick, the sleek black cat with a heart of gold. Known for his affectionate nature, Rick loves to snuggle and shower his humans with purrs. He uses the litter box like a pro. His charming personality and elegant appearance make him the perfect companion for anyone looking to add a little extra love to their life.**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Harvey
Meet Harvey! Harvey is a 7-year-old, 12-pound bundle of charm who looks like he trotted straight out of a storybook! With his fox-like face and adorable little overbite, this Corgi or Pomeranian mix is guaranteed to win hearts wherever he goes.Don't let his age fool you-Harvey still has plenty of playful energy! He loves romping around the yard, sniffing every corner, and soaking up the sunshine. When he's not exploring, he's happiest curled up next to his favorite person, soaking in all the snuggles he can get.Harvey gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a furry friend or two. He's deeply attached to his humans and will be your loyal shadow, always ready to offer affection and companionship. If you're looking for a cuddly, quirky little guy with tons of personality and love to give, Harvey might just be your perfect match!

Faith
Hi! I'm Faith and I want to ask if you are the happy ending to my sad story? You see, I was adopted from H4P a few years ago as a happy, healthy, playful girl. But recently, a very crowded shelter contacted H4P because I had been surrendered. Of course H4P acted quickly to get me out of the shelter. Fosters were very sad that I returned to them obese, having gained over 20 pounds. I was heartworm positive, had a skin issue and a thyroid issue, all of which had gone untreated. Fast forward to now! I am undergoing treatment for heartworms and getting my medical issues taken care of. I will probably be on Levothyroxine permanently as it keeps my thyroid levels where they should be, and luckily that medication is not expensive. I've lost about 12 pounds which gets me closer to my 48 pound goal. Now for the good things about me that I think you will like:My foster family says I am super sweet, and I crave your affection. I am house trained and crate trained. I sleep quietly through the night in my crate. In the mornings when I wake up, I watch my foster mom for the signs that we are going for a walk! That is the highlight of my day and I walk well on the leash. I'm a great office assistant if you work from home, laying by your desk quietly while you work. I will be great as an only dog, or can be fine with another dog - but a nice one that isn't too crazy when they play. I get nervous if a dog is just too much for me. I love toys and chew bones, too. I have gotten along with the dogs in my foster home and fell into the routine here quite easily. I am so glad to have another chance to find my perfect home. H4P will make sure that I get the right people who will love me and take great care of me. In return, I can promise lots of love in return.

Sal
Hi, I'm Sal!I'm a big, happy puppy-maybe part German Shepherd, but mostly just a bundle of energy and love. I'm still working on potty training and leash skills, but I can sleep through the night in my crate without any accidents (pretty proud of that!). I love playing with other dogs, hanging out with the humans, and chewing on all the toys I can find. I'm not sure how I feel about cats yet, but I'm always up for an adventure-or a good cuddle.Wanna be my new best friend?

Ash
Meet Ash, your future best friend and the sweetest little shadow you'll ever have! This spunky and curious pup is always underfoot, never leaving your side, and ready for whatever adventure comes next. With those adorable ears of hers, she's always tuned in, and she even acts as the little mediator between her siblings, Benji and Ginger. Ash has a wonderfully friendly and fun personality. She's starting to get the hang of the dog door (sometimes she just needs a gentle reminder!), and she's currently pee-pad trained, though she'll need a bit more work on full potty training. Ash is beginning her kennel training now, and eats her meals and gets her treats in her kennel. When it comes to water, she's happy playing around the pool, but not as excited about being in the pool. Be sure to show her the pool exit - she's a quick learner! Being a playful puppy, she's still teething, so gentle redirecting during playtime is key. Ash would be a fantastic addition to any home, whether as your only furry friend or alongside another canine companion. A playmate would be recommended, but not necessary, and room to play would be a major plus.

Siggy
Hi, my name is Siggy!I'm about 2 years old, but I live life like a playful kitten-if it moves, I'm chasing it! I showed up at my foster mom's window one day, and she rescued me from life on the streets. Growing up outside made me a little survivor, but now I'm discovering how nice it is to have a warm, loving home.I get along with the other cats in the house, though I especially love playing with the younger one-we run around and wrestle all day! I'm still learning to fully trust humans, but every day I get a little more comfortable being part of a family. I love head rubs, but tummy rubs are reserved for someone really special.I'm a big fan of toys, food, and all the treats my foster mom gives me. I also have a unique tail from an old pelvic injury-it makes my walk a little different, but it doesn't slow me down! I still zoom around the house and even leap onto beds for cozy naps.If you're looking for a spirited, sweet cat who's learning how to love and trust, I might be your perfect match!**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the How it Works page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.**

Ginger
Looking for a little bundle of joy with a huge heart? Say hello to Ginger! This "little, spunky princess" is the smallest of her siblings, yet she holds her own just fine. She's truly the best snuggler you'll find, ready to be your favorite couch potato and showering you with affection. You don't have to search very long to find this little girl. She'll find you the minute you walk into the room. Unlike her siblings, Ginger eats at her own pace and does not require a slow feeder. She enjoys being fed on her own in her kennel and has just started her kennel training. Ginger adores her people and has the sweetest disposition. She's also a natural in the water, happily jumping into shallow areas and easily finding her way out of the pool once shown. She's currently pee-pad trained but needs continued guidance with her potty training. This tiny sweetheart would be a fantastic addition to any family and would be great adopted alone or adopted with her sister, Ash. A companion would be beneficial for Ginger, but not necessary, but be prepared to play away her puppy energy.

Stanley
Meet Stanley - A Gentle Soul Looking for His Forever Home.Stanley is a shy, sweet gentleman who's ready to start the next chapter of his life-with a little help from a loving, patient family. This 3 to 4-year-old Chi/pug mix is fully vaccinated, crate-trained, and potty-trained. He's got wonderful manners and a calm presence, but he's a bit reserved at first and needs time to feel safe and secure in new surroundings.Once he knows you're one of the good ones, Stanley's gentle affection begins to shine. He gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a quieter home with older kids who understand the beauty of earning a shy dog's trust.Stanley has tested heartworm positive, but he's already started treatment, and we will cover all associated costs. All he needs from you is a safe space to heal and a heart open to a slower, more thoughtful bond.If you believe in second chances and quiet companionship, Stanley might just be the gentleman you've been waiting for.

Benji
Meet Benji, the "BIG brother" of the litter and an absolute teddy bear! This fluffy boy is all heart, with a gentle soul that loves to nap under the couch and soak up all the love. Benji enjoys the water, so be sure to show him how to exit the pool, and he'll pick it up in no time. He's not what you'd would call a water dog, but he's been known to splash around the shallow end of the pool - He's a quick learner, so show him the way out and he'll get it on his first few tries. This bear cub is a big eater who could benefit from a slow feeder (he acts like he's starving!), and he's a bit of a messy eater, which just adds to his charm! Benji is starting to get the hang of the dog door and is currently pee-pad trained, though he'll need much more work on his overall potty training. He enjoys being fed in his own kennel, and has just started his kennel training. He'd make a wonderful addition to any family, and he will be great adopted alone or paired with his sister, Ash. A companion is recommended but not necessary, and room to play would also be recommended.

Guppy
My name is Guppy, but my foster mom lovingly calls me Buster. I'm a delightful 6-month-old mixed breed male pup, and I have to say, I'm quite the charming little guy. With my big feet, I can be a bit clumsy, but I'm steadily putting on weight and growing into them, so no worries there!I'm almost fully potty trained but sometimes have an occasional accident. My foster mom is teaching me to ring the bells when I need to go outside because I'm still a little unsure about using the doggie door. However, I walk like a dream on a leash and absolutely love playing and meeting other dogs. I'm already good at sitting on command, and I'm eagerly learning other tricks too. Treats are my ultimate motivation - I'll do just about anything for a yummy reward!I'm a mellow pup with a big heart, eager to meet new people and explore the world. My foster sister and I have a blast playing together. She jumps all over me, but I really don't mind at all. During the day, I hang out in my crate while my foster mom works, and I'm perfectly okay with that. I also sleep in my crate every night, and if I need to go out during the night, I'll let you know by whining or barking. What I crave the most is your love and attention, and I'm always ready to give it back in return. I'm a quick learner and an incredibly lovable companion. I'm searching for a family who will love and cherish me as much as I will them. I enjoy spending time in the yard when you're out there with me, and I'm always curious about everything around me. My favorite time of the day is when we can snuggle together - I guarantee I'll fall asleep right next to you.I can't wait to find my forever home and share all my love and loyalty with you! Looking forward to meeting you soon!

I was rescued from inside a car engine (yes, really!), and now I'm soaking up every bit of the good life.I'm a sweet and playful tuxedo kitten with a curious spirit and a super chill vibe. I love to explore, snuggle, and follow my people around just to see what they're up to. My meow might be tiny, but my love is loud and proud. Jayson

I've got a playful side and love hanging out with other dogs, but I'm a little more laid-back than your average wild puppy. I'm still learning the ropes with potty training and leash walking, but I do sleep through the night in my crate without any accidents (go me!). I'm not sure about cats yet, but I do know I love toys, treats, and just being close to my people.Think we could be a perfect match?

Stormy
