Hi, my name is Laredo and I am 3 yrs old! I am a big lap dog and love to be right with my person. My life before rescue was not the best, so I was a bit afraid of new people and dogs when I came to Habitat 4 Paws. My fosters saw what a good dog I could be with a little reassurance and Habitat 4 Paws set me up with a great trainer! I am finishing up a month long training and doing great. Everyone says I am super smart and an excellent direction follower. I have learned some good commands, worked on my socialization skills, and am becoming a very confident and happy dog! Now it's time to find my forever family! I think I would like an active family best, to play with, go on walks, and spend lots of time together. I'm good with kids, too! Although I love being the center of your doggie attention, I would be fine sharing the spotlight with another calmer dog. And bonus..... I am crate and potty trained too!
