Hi, I'm Tux, a pretty black and white female. I came into the care of Habitat 4 Paws as a feral kitten but I have made so much progress getting socialized! I do still have a way to go so I would do best with someone who has lots of patience and a quiet home. If things get too loud, I can be easily frightened and I'll run off to hide. But when the house is calm, I'm such a sweet little thing who really enjoys being petted. So much so that I will start purring before you even touch me! And once that's started, I'll weave around you and push my head against your hand for more. I also like to talk to you and enjoy if you'll "talk" back to me. I'll also flop over onto my side to get those good full-body scratches. I really love my sister Tabs and we can often be found napping or playing together. I really like playing with the wand toy with the humans and also batting around other kitty toys. I'm pretty good about using the cat scratchers but I do have to be redirected sometimes. I have perfect litterbox habits. I would really do best in a home with another cat but no dogs or young kids because there would probably be too much commotion. I am not going to be the easiest kitty, it's true. But I am still deserving of a happy home where I can feel safe and get all the petting I could ever want. Please think about taking a chance on me!
