The mission of H4P is to rescue and find permanent homes for dogs and cats while caring for them in a foster program with rescue based partners.
Beyond just sheltering animals, we want to be proactive in other areas that will help keep animals out of municipal shelters. Paws Pantry animal-food bank collects and distributes dog and cat food to those in need. H4P will host microchip clinics so that animals will have a permanent ID and can be reunited with their owners.donate now
Featured Pets that need a new home
Age: 1 year 5 months
Breed: Domestic Shorthair/Mix
Description: My name is Athena, and I am a proud mom of four beautiful kittens. They're all grown up and don't need me anymore, so I'm ready to retire into a family of my own! I love sitting on your lap, having my belly pet, playing with string toys, and snuggling with you! I'm not a huge fan of dogs, and might be okay with other cats, but I'd really prefer to be the solo queen at my forever home. Please consider making me a part of your family!
Age: 3 years 1 month
Description: Hi! Bullwinkle here! I am a sweet guy that thinks I need to be next to you every time you sit on the couch. I love playing with other dogs but I can be slightly dominant sometimes so a more submissive dog would be the best match for me. I won't voluntarily go in my crate so just toss in a treat. Nylabones are very cool to chew on so I would love to always have one. I'm a little noisy but I'm doing a great job on potty training!

Age: 1 yr. 7 months
Description: Hi I'm Stormie, proud mama of 5 beautiful kittens but they are grown up and my work as a mama is done. I love people and receiving lots of attention and cuddles. My foster mama says I'm the sweetest most loving cat she has ever met! I'm good with the litter box and also a great passenger in the car. I would prefer to be the only cat in the house and I do better with male cats. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of dogs yet though.
A permanent shelter will allow H4P to rescue more cats and dogs in the Frisco/Little Elm area. For more information, contact us here.
