H4P's Mission

The mission of H4P is to rescue and find permanent homes for dogs while caring for them in a foster program with rescue based partners.

Beyond just sheltering animals, we want to be proactive in other areas that will help keep animals out of municipal shelters. Paws Pantry animal-food bank collects and distributes dog and cat food to those in need. H4P will host microchip clinics so that animals will have a permanent ID and can be reunited with their owners.

Featured Pets

Aston

Age: 1 year 1 month
Breed: Domestic Shorthair/Mix
Description: Male, I'm Asher, a one-year-old super sweet boy who is always happy to see you. In fact, if you walk by my cage without stopping, it is quite common for me to reach out to you because I want you to pet me. In return, I give very loving and gentle head bumps to let you know how much I adore interacting with my people.

Cookie

Age: 11 months
Breed: Terrier, Bull/Mix
Description: Female, I weigh around 40 pounds. My favorite game is playing tug. My foster mom says I'm very smart and I've been told I have great drive. I have mastered the 'sit' command and am working on the 'lay down' command. I cannot wait for you to teach me more.

Dante

Age: 1 years 6 months
Breed: Retriever, Labrador/Mix
Description: Male, Neutered, Special Needs. After many months of seeing specialists and different vets, we learned that I was most likely born with a genetic disorder that causes some incontinence. But the great news is that with a regular schedule I can be a great family pet! If you would like more details email info@habitat4paws.org
